Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer role based in Shah Alam. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and improving software solutions that power MHub's property enterprise platform. The role involves delivering clean, scalable code, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, leading backend development efforts, and ensuring system performance and stability. You'll also mentor junior engineers and play a key part in shaping technical and architectural decisions.
What You'll Do
- Drive the full development cycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Enhance existing features, build new functionalities, integrate backend systems, and resolve production issues.
- Work closely with the Product team in an agile environment to deliver solid technical solutions.
- Collaborate with domain experts to translate business needs into practical system designs.
- Contribute to code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support junior team members.
- Assist in effort estimation and ensure tasks are delivered on schedule.
- Support environment setup across development, testing, and production.
What You Bring
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience (Property/CRM/Accounting domain is a bonus).
- Strong initiative, team-driven mindset, and the ability to inspire others.
- Familiarity with UML and design documentation standards.
- Proficiency in React and either Golang, JavaScript, or both.
- Solid experience with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of RDBMS/PostgreSQL.
- Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to handle tight timelines and deliver with consistency.
