FUNCTION: Global Business Services Finance 

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: Finance Manager

Reporting Level: Manages Self

Geographic Scope: Direct Business Units Scope

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Assist in business functions in the areas of either Accounting and Finance (Procure to Pay, General Accounting, Product Costing, and Corporate Finance)Learn and practice basic day to day work, operations, or projects in a shared services environmentEngage in networking with team members from other business functions and leadership team on best work practicesDiscover within own team and/or with other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunitiesDelivering high levels of customer service to both internal or external stakeholdersPerforming other relevant support activities as and when required

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Possess a good understanding of group accounting principles – ability to identify accounting issuesUnderstanding the financial practices applicable to the daily tasks.Be able to assess risks and be aware of these, if not able to complete target on timeStrong communication and inter-personal skills to support key stakeholders.Maintains excellent working relationships with all colleaguesHas the ability to prioritize and handle own workload, is resilient and open to challenge.Calm under pressure, organized, and demonstrates a high degree of motivationDegree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or equivalent
