What you'll be doing

• Conducting proactive and reactive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment and systems of our petrochemical plant
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Implementing preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and maximise equipment lifespan
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions
• Ensuring compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Specialization in Industrial Power/ Electrical Power/ Power System or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer specialized in Electrical Engineering, preferably in the oil & gas/ petrochemical/ heavy industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Excellent knowledge in Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commissioner) regulation and related laws
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Possess good analytical skill.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide effective leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuously improving processes and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
