We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy NOC Intern to join our Network Operation Center (NOC) team. This internship provides hands-on experience in monitoring and supporting network infrastructure, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of a contact center's technology environment. The intern will work closely with the IT and network teams to maintain optimal network performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance, servers, and telephony systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network, system, and connectivity issues.
  • Support incident management by identifying, documenting, and escalating issues as required.
  • Perform basic network diagnostics and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with IT team to support hardware, software, and telephony system configurations.
  • Document system performance, issues, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Participate in IT projects related to network upgrades and system improvements.
  • Learn and assist in implementing security protocols to protect network integrity.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, VoIP).
  • Familiar with PHY, MySQL and Bootstrap.
  • Understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Flexibility to work in shift-based schedules if required.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM RM800.00 per month
