1. Key Responsibilities

A. Equipment Maintenance & Repair

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of machinery such as conveyors, mixers, compactors, feeder, sieve, motor, and etc.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Replace defective parts, bearings, belts, motors, gearboxes etc.

B. Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance according to the plant's maintenance plan.
  • Lubricate machinery, check wear and tear, and calibrate instrumentation where required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.

C. Facility & Utilities Support

  • Maintain plant utilities such as air compressors, water pumps, and electrical panels.
  • Assist in the upkeep of building facilities, lighting, air conditioner, painting, flooring, piping and fire system.

D. Improvement Project

  • Support plant's improvement projects set up, implementation and maintenance.
  • Participate in training of new maintenance staff.

2. Qualification & Skill

  • Education: Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in chemical, fertilizer, or process plant operations.
  • Possession of Chargeman certification (AO, A1, or higher) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in electrical drawing and diagram, electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
  • Able to install and repair any faulty electrical appliances.
  • Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Mechanical systems, welding and fabrication.
  • Understanding of safety standards in chemical handling.

4. Working Environment

  • Plant-based work environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
  • May require overtime and weekend duties during breakdowns or shutdowns.
  • Must wear company-provided PPE at all times.
  • Follow Safety Standard procedure at all time
  • Working hour: Mon-Sat)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
