Junior Embryologist

JUNIOR EMBRYOLOGIST/ EMBRYOLOGIST ROLES:

1. To handle semen analysis, sperm preparation, selection and culture of oocytes and embryos, freeze/thaw embryos and carry out ICSI and other types of ART procedures when required.
2. To assist in all other aspects of the IVF laboratory including its maintenance, cleanliness, sterility and the indenting, purchasing and keeping stock of consumables and frozen gametes.
3. To keep abreast with Reproductive technologies and techniques. This includes the reading of the journals and participation in conferences, some of which will be sponsored.
4. To assist in the Donor Programme including the recruitment of new donors, the update of blood tests, etc.
5. To be totally committed in producing good fertilisation and pregnancy rates.
6. To assist in data analysis for all ART relevant statistics.
7. To assist in quality assurance activities of lab.
8. To carry out any other duties as assigned

JUNIOR EMBRYOLOGIST/ EMBRYOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicants must possess at least a BSc in Biomedical Sciences / Biotechnology or equivalent.

2. Preferably candidates with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

3. Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

CHIEF EMBRYOLOGIST ROLES:

1. To be in charge in all aspects of the IVF laboratories including lab staff, daily operations, air quality, maintenance, cleanliness, sterility, and the indenting, purchasing, and keeping stock of hardware, consumables, and frozen gametes/ embryos.
2. To oversee all IVF related procedures such as (but not limited to) semen analyses, sperm preparation, selection and culture of oocytes and embryos, freeze/thaw embryos, ICSI and PGT procedures.
3. To handle all IVF related procedures when required.
4. To keep abreast with Reproductive Technologies and Techniques. This includes the reading of journals and participation at conferences, some of which will be sponsored.
5. To be totally committed to produce good fertilization and pregnancy rates.
6. To ensure all lab's KPIs (fertilization rate, degeneration rate, blastulation rate, utilization rate, CPR, IR, miscarriage rate, multiple pregnancy rate, gamete/embryo post-thaw survival rate, failed amplification rate) are maintained at least at competent levels or exceed benchmark levels.
7. To provide training to all Trainee Embryologists and Geneticists.
8. To carry out other duties as determined from time to time.

CHIEF EMBRYOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicants must possess at least a BSc in Biomedical Sciences / Biotechnology or equivalent.
2. Preferably candidates with a minimum of five (5) year of related experience or relevant IVF Lab experience.
3. Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others.
