Network Engineer

3 years of established experience in a Network Architect role or equivalent.

Experience in managing complexity network, knowledge of network routing protocol like BGP, OSPF.

Providing 24/7 on-call and office, hours on-site administration and operational support for all network related issues

Strong knowledge of network routing protocol such as BGP, OSPF

Ensuring all network support services are delivered within service level agreements.

Responsible for network design and implementation

Managing of Cisco router, Arista/Huawei wireless controller, access point , firewalls, SASE Cloud.

Perform system hardening and patch deployment.

Work on network related budget and workplan.

Management of network related contracts.

Explore new technology that could improve the workflow.

Automation of the network work process to enhance operation efficiency.

Good knowledge of troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution, debugging network-related problem.

Ability to self-manage projects and provide timely update on progress.

Understand latest network/security threats and issues and mitigation solutions.

Network incident management

Basic knowledge of cloud computing

Work on any other responsibilities/tasks

In-depth experienced in using Palo Alto and Fortigate. This is a must.

Having knowledge about network on cloud.

Well-versed in routing protocols as well, ie. CCNP certified.

Hands-on configuration skill for different brands of firewall

Network architecture: LAN, WAN, WIFI

Network management: monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization

Time management: Prioritizing
