About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at True Design Octoplus Sdn Bhd. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and aesthetics of our clients' spaces, ensuring they reflect their brand, vision, and target audience. This full-time position is based in our Kota Damansara, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

  1. Lead concept development, space planning, and project design direction
  2. Prepare detailed drawings, material specifications, and presentation materials
  3. Oversee project progress and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers
  4. Ensure design intention is delivered with quality and consistency
  5. Guide junior designers and collaborate closely with the in-house production team

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in a similar role or within the commercial/corporate interior design sector
  2. Excellent design skills, with a strong understanding of space planning, colour theory, and materials
  3. Proficiency in using design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  4. Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
  5. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces
  6. Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present design concepts effectively
