Electrical Engineering Manager

In this role, you will lead a team of Electrical Engineers specialising in automation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and fostering innovation of the company's automation systems.
- Responsibilities encompass team management, hiring and staff development, design and engineering, as well as evaluation and compliance
- You will plan and oversee electrical design projects by developing specifications, managing schedules, and integrating electrical requirements with mechanical designs. A thorough understanding of safety guideline standards, including SEMI, IEEE, and IEC pertaining to electrical design, is imperative
- Collaborate with the Electronics Engineering and Application Engineering teams, to establish and maintain the design control workflow
- Additionally, you will review the Bill of Materials for all electrical components and liaise with vendors for parts procurement
- Duties also includes review and approve electrical schematic drawings, conducting DFMEA and improve electrical drawing standards.
Job Requirements:
- A min of 8 years of working experience in electrical engineering, preferably in automation industry
- A min of 4 years of leadership experience
- Prior experience in motion controllers, machine equipment, robotic arms will be advantageous
- 50% hands on, 50% team management
