Process Engineer is also responsible to define, develop and implement a robust monitoring system to measure and quantify the processes performance in order to reduce scrap, improve product quality and enable best in class manufacturing. Based in a cleanroom and production floor environment. Works in close collaboration with Global Engineering, Site Engineering, R&D, Malaysia Test Lab and outside equipment suppliers to identify and implement improvements to custom equipment solutions that will improve reliability, efficiency, or yields. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to production issues. Maintain process documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Develop product process flow charts, conduct PFMEA, maintaining BOM, Control Plan and oversee product performance to ensure production readiness. Support continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, improve quality, and enhance productivity. Effectively implement problem solving skills and techniques to identify potential equipment risks and develop/implement mitigation plans as needed. Update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed. This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned. Basic knowledge related to product, process, and equipment used in a high volume manufacturing environment Ability to work in Team environment across multiple functional groups Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and conflicting priorities Excellent team-oriented communication and organizational skills
