Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Bar Storekeeper / Beverage Controller to manage the custody, control, and movement of all alcoholic beverages and bar consumables. This role ensures accurate dispensing, proper storage, and strict compliance with company standards and alcohol-handling regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and able to support bar operations during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full custody and control of all alcoholic beverages and bar consumables in line with company policies.
• Accurately dispense liquor and mixers to bartenders based on approved orders and recipes.
• Conduct daily and weekly stock counts, ensuring accurate variance reconciliation.
• Monitor product expiry dates, storage conditions, and security of the liquor storeroom.
• Assist in receiving, verifying, and documenting deliveries from suppliers.
• Prepare and submit reports on stock movements, breakages, losses, and discrepancies.
• Ensure strict compliance with company SOPs, hygiene practices, and licensing regulations relating to alcohol handling.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, including seasonal beverages, alcohol selections, and food pairings.
• Support bartenders and service teams during peak hours or special events to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in event or private function setups, including beverage preparation and inventory planning.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in bar operations, beverage control, or inventory management is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, mixology basics, and proper storage standards.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict control over liquor inventory.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
