Job Requirement

· Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Machining, or related field.

· Proven experience (2–5 years) as a lathe machine operator or machinist.

· Strong knowledge of lathe machine operation, tooling, and machining principles.

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.

· Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility

· Set up and operate manual and/or lathe machines to produce precision parts.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

· Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds for machining operations.

· Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.

· Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

· Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

· Ensure that safety protocols and operational procedures are strictly followed.

· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and solve machining problems.

· Document production records and maintain accurate job logs.

· Assist in training junior machinists and operators as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM4,500.00 per month
