Job Description
Join Micron as a Process Lab Technician, where your responsibilities will include managing and processing NAND and DRAM component and module qualifications within a dynamic lab environment. This role is essential for the upkeep and operation of equipment, processes, and data reporting at the Micron Labs. Your support will be instrumental in aiding engineering functions and maintaining exceptional customer service and global communication.

Responsibilities And Tasks

• Stay current on Micron NAND/DRAM product generations.
• Understand the functions and applications of memory technology.
• Identify major components of memory modules and their operation.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment for checkouts.
• Share documentation and information to raise awareness and knowledge within the department and industry.
• Assist in developing and training new engineers and process technicians.

Perform Product Test And Failure Analysis

• Conduct product testing to support new and existing product development.
• Assist with system-level debugging using software, analyzers, and diagnostic tools.
• Support engineering projects, including RMA requests, product qualifications, assembly quals, and production sampling.
• Install, modify, and debug issues in any OS environment.
• Collaborate with engineers to drive issues to closure.
• Operate lab test equipment to identify products by fuse ID, part numbers, and invent ID.
• Monitor and maintain lab equipment operational health.
• Build and debug engineering test fixtures.

Provide Support For Engineers And Customers

• Offer technical support for system-level issues.
• Modify and repair systems for validation usage.
• Assist in ordering new systems and retiring old ones.
• Provide clear written and verbal pass down for tasks and issues.
• Support engineering activities with documentation.
• Understand customer requests and communicate qualification results.
• Build and maintain relationships with qualification requestors.

Assist with Equipment, Processes, and Documentation at SpecTek Labs

• Apply resources, software, and tools for supporting equipment, processes, and documentation.
• Operate and upkeep tools to fulfill lab needs.
• Assist with software/equipment installation and upgrades.
• Promote continuous process and equipment improvement.

Maintain Effective Communications

• Provide timely and accurate customer service.
• Develop and maintain effective global networks.
• Support teamwork and information sharing.
• Communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality.

Maintain Individual Efficiency

• Seek feedback for personal development.
• Serve as a resource and provide direction to others.
• Maintain certifications.

Perform EHSS Responsibilities

• Report conditions or behaviors contrary to EHS policies.
• Follow safety procedures and use accurate PPE.
• Operate and uphold equipment within established parameters.
• Cooperate with audits.

Required/Desired Education, Experience, And Skills

• Required: Diploma or equivalent experience in technical field or similar.
• Required: 2+ years' work experience in semiconductor/module manufacturing field.
• Experience in DRAM or NAND is an added advantage
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of computers.
• Experience in crafting data and reports.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs.
• Great teammate with excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and motivational skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision.
• Proficient in math and knowledge of production/manufacturing processes.
