About the role

VSTECS Ku Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions that drive business success. This is a crucial role that will have a strategic impact on the company's cloud infrastructure and services business. The position is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures for AI and cloud workloads.
  • Lead solution design workshops with customers and internal teams.
  • Provide technical leadership for AI/ML and generative AI initiatives.
  • Build end-to-end solutions using Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and other AI services.
  • Define RAG architectures with vector databases and knowledge retrieval.
  • Integrate AWS services like EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway into solution designs.
  • Develop architecture blueprints, HLDs, and LLDs for projects.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are embedded in designs.
  • Work with stakeholders to map business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct POCs to validate AI services and platform designs.
  • Guide customers on best practices, scalability, and modernization strategies.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including RFPs, proposals, and technical presentations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and handover.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to building internal AWS solution capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Strong expertise in AWS architecture design and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML services such as SageMaker and Bedrock.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and security design.
  • Familiarity with containers and microservices (EKS, ECS).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for customer engagements.
  • Experience with POCs, migration planning, and modernization projects.
