Junior Geologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, compile, and analyze geological data from field teams and contractors.
• Prepare geological maps, cross-sections, and technical drawings using relevant software (e.g., ArcGIS, Surpac, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Assist in preparing geological reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and update geological databases, logs, and project files.
• Coordinate with field geologists to ensure data accuracy and timely submission of samples, logs, and field reports.
• Support QA/QC processes for sampling, drilling, and data management.
• Participate in resource estimation activities and support geological modelling tasks.
• Assist in desktop studies, geological research, and technical evaluations for new projects.
• Ensure all geological work complies with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of related experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of geological mapping, mineral exploration, and drilling processes.
• Proficiency in geological software is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, GIS tools, or relevant software).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Additional Information

• Work is primarily office-based; minimal site visits may be required as needed.
• Training and development will be provided to support career growth within the geology team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
