Job Descriptions:-

  1. Lead project development for Interior Trim
  2. Prepare project progress report for all projects.
  3. Responsible for interior parts/component of the car.
  4. Prepare & update EBOM, release in SPINE/PL system
  5. Execute PCR/PCO activities up to production stage.
  6. Prepare and revise 3D, 2D engineering drawing on Part, Spec Control Drawing and Installation Drawing.
  7. Prepare Design Concept Sheet (DCS), Design Planning Sheet (DPS) for Interior parts and system.
  8. Establish design guideline, engineering specification and standard, DMEA for Interior's parts & system
  9. Assist respective department Quality, Production, Product Marketing, Product Planning, Product Design/Styling to ensure product development is accordance to design plan and targets setting.
  10. Assist after sales & service in trouble shooting on customers feedback/problems which related to design parts and system
  11. Assist Manufacturing in trouble shooting on production problem and issues related to design eg OROC, WMOM, QIT/QAT
  12. Execute NDS Deliverable in vehicle development stage
  13. Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Requirements: -

  1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automotive)
  2. Minimum 15 years of experience in Automotive or plastic parts / component design and development
  3. Well verse with cad modelling tool, Catia V5
  4. Deep knowledge in plastic mould injection
  5. Experience in plastic design and development for automotive parts

  6. Basic knowledge in plastic injection process, material selection, parts assembly, integration with other parts. Fit & finish.

  7. Good communication, creative thinking, excellent in analysis study and troubleshooting.

  8. Excellent in problem solving skill and presentation skill. Positive thinking, ability to multitask, highly numerate with attention to details, creative and able to work extra hours when needed
