Teamleader Accounting (SSC APAC)

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What You Will Do

• Ensure correct recording of the financial transactions in SAP R3 under IFRS/MFRS accounting standards incl. the proper documentation/approval of the journal entries (20%)
• Oversee processes in the sub-ledgers such as accounts payables, accounts receivables and fixed assets. Prepare reconciliations and analysis of accounts. Investigate any discrepancies/anomalies and post correcting entries if needed (30%)
• Oversee the closing and reporting procedures in SAP R3 and Hyperion HFM (10%)
• Ensure compliance with local laws & regulations incl. tax compliance. Perform internal control procedures to safeguard assets and prevent fraud (20%)
• Ensure close collaboration with colleagues, department heads and external stakeholders. Support the business by providing reliable information/financial data (20%)

What You Bring

• Requirement of professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in the shared-service center APAC. Expected to stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends through continuing education courses or seminars and approx. 5 years of experience with responsibilities in financial reporting, analysis, or auditing are required.
• Accounting Principles & Taxation: Understanding of the accounting standards IFRS / MFRS and require knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, etc.
• Financial Analysis & Software: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. Proficiency in using accounting software such as SAP or Hyperion HFM. Strong Excel skills.
• Business Acumen & Auditing: Understanding of business operations, industry trends, and financial implications and understanding of auditing procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with team members. English proficiency level at least C1.
