ASRS Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform facilities maintenance and mechanical/electrical repair on Automated Storage / Retrieval System (ASRS) shuttles and other automated pallet handling systems (conveyors, lifter, etc).
• Inspect mechanical/electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, need for adjustment/repair, and make recommendations to improve performance & reliability.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective action to ensure ASRS shuttles, conveyors, lifter, run smoothly and efficiently.
• Liaise with vendor and in-house team to handle breakdown.
• Provide technical support, standby and respond for emergency.
• To maintain spare parts inventory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant qualifications.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring.
• Familiar with electrical/mechanical drive technology (e.g., motors and gears).
• At least 2 years of working experience in the same capacity.
• Good communication skills. Hands on experience and good at troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues.
• Experienced working in Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse or facility will be an added advantage.
• Good working attitude, teamwork oriented and ability to learn new tasks.
