Purpose of Position:

• The IT Executive works under the direction of the IT Manager and is responsible for providing a range of technical support services to ICT users in the School including both students and staff.

As an IT Executive, you will:

• carry out the installation of new computer hardware and software;

• perform hardware repairs and upgrades;

• respond to requests from staff to set up and operate ICT and audio/visual equipment;

• manage the installation, maintenance and relocation of ICT equipment across the School as required;

• oversee the installation and monitoring of network printers;

• maintain an inventory of hardware and software acquired by the School;

• perform weekly back-up and maintenance of servers; and

• install, configure and provide support for networked PCs, laptops and peripheral devices including printers.
