  1. To develop and operate a highly effective stewarding section that enables the Hotel F&B Department to be renowned for its cuisine and its guest experiences

2.Provide leadership for the overall direction and operations of the stewarding section

3.Develop and implement the specific objectives and strategies for the section to achieve and maintain high standards, quality and optimum cost control for the sectio

4.Plan, organize, implement and review all stewarding work and activities to keep the brand promise.  This requires working with F&B Managers and the Executive Chef on the supply of mise-en-place to outlets, production areas and the staff cafeteria

5.Implement and improve the Hotel and stewarding policies, procedures and standards as spelt out in the F&B Operations Manual

6.Manage the purchase (or request), set-up, storage, maintenance and use of all resources, programmes and systems used by the section.  This includes manning and par stock

7.Participate in Hotel events and regular communication sessions by the Management (e.g., F&B Department meetings, Hosts events)

8.Lead the training function for the stewarding section and conduct training for subordinates to achieve the stewarding section's set standards and to enable Hosts to keep brand promise

9.Audit guest experiences, internal customer satisfaction and work production quality, and implement improvement interventions

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, knowledge in Mandarin will be added as advantage
  • Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
