Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong fintech experience to lead quality assurance initiatives across our digital financial platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our financial services through comprehensive testing strategies and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile financial applications.

• Conduct thorough testing of financial transactions, payment gateways, and security features.

• Perform API testing and integration testing for microservices architecture

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring proper communication with development teams.

• Conduct security testing and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and standards.

• Review and validate system performance, load testing, and stress testing for high-volume transaction scenarios

• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and quality metrics reports

• Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing, with mandatory experience in fintech industry

• Strong understanding of financial systems, payment processing, and transaction workflows

• Strong experience with API testing tools (Postman)

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing

• Understanding of security testing principles and OWASP guidelines

• Excellent English language skills (written and verbal) - must be able to communicate effectively with international teams and create detailed documentation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in microfinance sector is a significant plus

• Experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android)

• Experience with test management tools (JIRA)

• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, KYC, AML)

• Background in financial risk assessment and fraud detection testing.
