Full job description

Monitor, operate, and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure optimal performance and fulfills the DOE specifications.
Carry out troubleshoot and manage repairs and maintenance of electrical, chemical, and machine/equipment.
Oversee budgeting activities, track operational expenses, and optimize resource use to meet the Waste & Waste Water Management.
Prepare and maintain operator log sheets, including chemical consumption, parameter analysis, and service reports, whichever necessary to maintain the performance of the WWTP.
To segregate waste material i.e., non-schedule waste, schedule waste & recyclable materials prior to disposal.
To do an arrangement for waste disposal.
To manage non-scheduled waste & scheduled waste as per regulation requirement.
Liaise with the Department of Environment (DOE), others relevant regulatory authorities & contractors to ensure compliance with mandatory.
To keep waste storage area clean & tidy.

Requirement

Minimum SPM with 2 years experience or minimum Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or its equivalent.
Strong understanding of waste water treatment processes, equipment and environmental regulations
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently
