Responsibilities are: -


  2. Development of SAP RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for SAP modules.
  3. Manage and ensure seamless integration of all development and technical tasks between all teams on Integration and process related activities.
  4. Develop and maintain Linux/Windows OS script for interface batch file transfer.
  5. Collaborate with basis, comm, server and IT security for integration architecture setup.
  6. Perform configuration setting and support for SAP PI NetWeaver and SAP Fiori.
  7. Assist all application analysts in developing functional specifications so that they are convertible to technical specifications where required.
  8. Provide on-going support for SAP systems, primarily in the areas of development and integration to 3rd parties.
  9. Support and assessment of change requests (corrections, enhancements), proposing and developing solutions.
  10. Validate work tasks, costing and delivery schedules for the project or assignment undertaken.
  11. Performs technical reviews and ensure that the development objects are optimal and meet business requirements.
  12. Challenge solutions provided by external consultants on best practices and ensure compliance to technical guidelines.
  13. To keep up with new technology on application development / programming work in ABAP/Web Services as well as other technical areas such as API and connectivity setup btw systems.
  14. Guide junior programmers and monitor/supervise their work.
  15. Knowledge and experience in applying OSS notes.
  16. To always uphold development standards and ensure efficient program design.
  17. Participate and support SAP projects/initiatives, performing tasks such as:
  • Writing technical specs;
  • Carry out ABAP coding work;
  • Conduct testing;
  • Conduct technical training where required on system interfaces

Requirements: -

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems or Engineering.
  • At least 2-3 years SAP experience in the area of ABAP.
  • Possess excellent analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills.
  • Able to communicate well in English.
  • Able to write clearly and concisely and work within tight deadlines.
  • Able to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Possess personal attributes such as maturity, interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative.
  • Challenges change requests for ABAP to ensure they are practical and in line with std SAP where possible.
  • Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude.
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) skills.
