Job Purpose:

To ensure all production machinery, utilities, and company facilities are well maintained and functioning efficiently. This includes handling both machine maintenance and general repair works (such as leaking, toilet, and lighting repairs) to support smooth operations at Ralco Plastic.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  2. Plan, schedule, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for production machines (e.g. blow molding, injection molding, grinder, chiller, air compressor).

  3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems to reduce machine downtime.

  4. Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and quality standards.

Facility & Property Maintenance

  1. Support general repair and upkeep of company property and building facilities.

  2. Handle minor repairs such as water leakage, toilet repairs, lighting replacement, wiring, and plumbing issues.

  3. Coordinate with external contractors for major facility works when required.

  4. Ensure all company facilities are in good, safe, and clean working condition.

Preventive Maintenance Planning

  1. Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for machines and utilities.

  2. Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure timely execution.

  3. Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

  1. Manage spare parts and tools inventory to support both production and facility maintenance.

  2. Raise purchase requisitions for spare parts, materials, and maintenance tools.

  3. Keep records of parts usage and maintenance costs.

Safety & Compliance

  1. Ensure all maintenance works follow company safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

  2. Conduct regular inspections to identify safety risks or facility defects.

  3. Support ISO, 5S, and safety audit requirements.

Reporting & Coordination

  1. Prepare maintenance reports on downtime, equipment performance, and repair activities.

  2. Liaise with production, administration, and external vendors to ensure timely maintenance support.

  3. Supervise and guide maintenance technicians in daily repair and servicing activities.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or related engineering field.

  2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in plastic manufacturing.

  3. Knowledge of machine repair, building maintenance, plumbing, and basic electrical works.

  4. Hands-on, responsible, and able to work independently or with a team.

  5. Willing to work overtime or attend emergency repairs when required.
