About the role

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Signalman (Tower Crane) to join our construction team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of large-scale construction projects within the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing clear and precise signals to tower crane operators to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment on site
  2. Coordinating the movement of loads and communicating with crane operators, spotters, riggers and other workers to maintain site safety
  3. Monitoring crane operations and identifying potential hazards or safety concerns
  4. Maintaining detailed records of all crane operations and communication with the crane operator
  5. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and guidelines
  6. Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure seamless project delivery

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Signalman (Tower Crane) in the construction industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with crane operators and construction personnel
  3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to provide clear, standardised signals
  4. Thorough understanding of crane safety procedures and construction site operations
  5. Commitment to upholding health, safety and environmental standards on site
  6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
