WWTP Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all utilities and facility systems.
• Plan for resource allocation (manpower, spares, and contractors) to support utility and facility operations.
• Prepare and monitor the annual utilities and facility budget, ensuring alignment with cost-saving and energy-efficiency initiatives.

Leading

• Supervise and develop the Utilities and Facility team, ensuring technical capability and performance.
• Act as SAP Business Process Lead, training and guiding the team on effective usage for maintenance execution and recordkeeping.
• Lead internal and external audit readiness for utilities and facilities.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure team compliance with EHS and Food Safety requirements.

Organizing

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the WWTP, boiler, and other utility systems.
• Manage facility maintenance (building, offices, canteen, lighting, and related infrastructure).
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized utilities and facility services.

Controlling

• Monitor and report on utility performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (DOSH, DOE, JKKP) and company policies.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for utilities/facility-related incidents and implement corrective actions.

SPECIFIC – Others

• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time, in alignment with operational needs and organizational goals.

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in the field of mechanical / electrical engineering / professional engineering certification or equivalent.
• Must Certified by DOE as competent person for CePIETSO- BP or PCP. Those with valid temporary certificate will be considered.
• At least 2 years of working experience in maintenance and manufacturing related field.
• Plant Safety, utilities and energy related knowledge.
• Technical expertise in WWTP, boiler, HVAC, utilities.
• Facility management & maintenance.
• Risk management & sustainability planning.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge.
