  • Supervise and manage daily cashier operations to ensure smooth transactions and excellent customer service.
  • Train, guide, and monitor cashiers to maintain accuracy in handling cash, credit cards, and e-wallet payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on cash handling, refunds, and discounts.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile cash balances at the end of each shift.
  • Handle discrepancies, shortfalls, and other cashiering issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Support management in scheduling shifts and maintaining adequate cashier coverage.
  • Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and customer-friendly.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries or complaints related to payment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a cashier or chief role (preferably in retail or supermarket).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to handle cash responsibly and work under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy (POS system, MS Excel).
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
