GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

To assist the Airport Manager and ensures that all airport activities are conducted in compliances with established policies; rules and procedures.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTION

To assume full administrative and operational control in absence of the Senior Airport Manager
To assist the Airport Manager in developing policies; plans and procedures and in routines administration of airport activities i.e. operations; AVSEC and AFRS
To perform frequent surveillance of all airport operations to detect and correct of any unsafe; inefficient; illegal and unsanitary condition including airports and STOL Ports under his region.
To receive and act on complaints submitted by airport tenants and airlines
To promulgate information and the aerodrome operational state such as temporary withdrawals of facilities; runway closures; work in progress; etc
To responsible for coordinating work in the movement area and for dictating the safety requirement
To attend meeting to provide technical operational information regarding airport operations; policies with government agencies; airlines companies; contractors and airport tenants
To serve as technical operation advisor to the management of the company in the formulation of policies; plans and procedures.
To ensure that the aerodrome airside operations are operated in accordance to procedures and regulations including airports and STOL Ports under his region.
To manage aerodrome certification; Safety Management Systems; grass cutting; cleaning and landscaping contracts including airports and STOL Ports under his region.
To ensure the implementation of SMS
