1. Patient Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to understand patients' physical conditions, medical history, and functional limitations.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments such as range-of-motion testing and muscle strength evaluations.
  • Establish clear, realistic, and measurable treatment goals based on assessment results.

2. Treatment Planning & Execution

  • Develop personalized rehabilitation and treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and objectives.
  • Utilize manual therapy, exercise therapy, and various therapeutic modalities (e.g., TENS, ultrasound, heat/ice).
  • Instruct patients on exercises and stretches to enhance mobility, strength, posture, and coordination.

3. Progress Monitoring & Adjustment

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to support optimal recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercises, self-management techniques, ergonomics, and preventive care.
  • Motivate patients throughout their therapy journey and provide emotional support when required.

4. Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Refer patients to additional specialists or services when appropriate.
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation for medical records, insurance, and legal purposes.

5. Administrative & Professional Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records and case notes.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and clinic/hospital policies.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and stay informed on emerging treatment techniques and research.
