The Financial Controller responsible for managing the finance function and aligning local financial practices with multinational standards following a recent acquisition. This role provides an excellent opportunity to establish efficient finance processes and deliver insightful reporting to support commercial decisions and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance with Global Accounting Manual and control frameworks.
  • Provide financial guidance to operational and commercial teams, safeguarding financial integrity.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management/statutory reporting, ERP system accuracy, and month-end processes.
  • Oversee cash flow, payment processes, and adherence to Group Treasury policies.
  • Prepare regular reports (KPIs, board packs, tax, statutory filings) and support group reporting systems
  • Identify cost-saving and profit improvement opportunities through margin and variance analysis.
  • Lead budgeting and strategic planning cycles, including scenario modelling and forecasting.
  • Continuously improve finance systems, controls, and data accuracy.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor finance and procurement teams, including recruitment and succession planning.
  • Support internal/external audits, insurance programs, and ad hoc business initiatives.
