Job Descriptions

  • CAD Drafting & Drawing Production: Assist the design team in creating and revising detailed floor plans, elevation drawings, and detail sheets using AutoCAD
  • Layout Support: Help develop store layouts under the guidance of senior designers, ensuring adherence to established brand standards and operational guidelines.
  • Document Management: Help organize and maintain digital drawing files, material libraries, and sample inventories.
  • Design Refresh Assistance: Support the team in tasks related to store refresh projects, including mood board creation, material research, and sourcing samples.
  • Site Survey Support: Potentially assist in documenting existing conditions of store sites through photos and measurements (if local and travel is feasible).
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general support to the design team, including preparing presentation materials, printing, and plotting sets, and other tasks as needed.

Role Requirement

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program for Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Required Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
  • Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling software (SketchUp) are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn about the retail design industry.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to work in office based at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • Driving License (Preferred)
