Position Overview: The Test Automation Lead will oversee the test automation strategy, ensuring the production of high-quality software. This position demands significant expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD processes, and various testing methodologies. The successful candidate will have a robust technical background and the capacity to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, and manage the test automation strategy and framework.
  • Lead a team of test automation engineers, offering mentorship and guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set test automation requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to guarantee continuous testing and delivery.
  • Perform unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, providing actionable insights to enhance product quality.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in test automation.
  • Ensure all automated tests are reliable, efficient, and maintainable.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated tests and test environments.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation
  • Proven experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience in unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance and load testing.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM10,000.00 per month
