. Our aspiration is to provide opportunities for the young high-potential local undergraduates in gaining valuable hands-on digital work experience and related learning as well as being mentored by our people at Arvato Systems Malaysia to prepare them ready for the workforce.

Finance (Accounting)/ Financial Planning & Analysis
.

Internship Expectations (Accounting Track):

• Learn and perform general accounting administrative and bookkeeping functions.
• Assist the team in the processing of purchase requisitions.
• Contribute to the month-end close accounting process and help ensure global reporting deadlines are met.
• Maintain and manage a proper filing system to ensure all documents are traceable in an efficient manner.
• Be involved in daily administration duties for the Finance department.
• Assist in preparing necessary documentation for audit, tax, and ISMS purposes.
• Assist in other ad-hoc assignments as required by head of department.
• Complete assigned deliverables within agreed timelines and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with the team and other stakeholders involved.
• Participate in company-wide initiatives and events.
• Receive guidance and mentorship throughout the internship.
• Be open for a two-way feedback and coaching.
• Be our brand ambassador.

Internship Expectations (Financial Planning & Analysis track):

• Learn and contribute to the preparation and follow-up of weekly reports (e.g., weekly utilization reports).
• Be involved in performing month-end closing activities (e.g., monthly preliminary and final Headcount checks, updating monthly exchange rates into relevant working files).
• Assist in the preparation of month-end reports (e.g., Monthly Business Review working files and presentation dashboards, Allowance and Leave Reports).
• Support the compilation of management reports, including downloading reports from SAP to be incorporated into respective reports.
• Assist in checking the sanity of working files (e.g., annual tariff pricing computation, annual KPI files) and other ad-hoc finance assignments.
• Support in the testing and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
• Complete assigned deliverables within agreed timelines and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with the team and other stakeholders involved.
• Participate in company-wide initiatives and events.
• Receive guidance and mentorship throughout the internship.
• Be open for a two-way feedback and coaching.
• Be our brand ambassador.

What Must You Have:

• A local citizenship.
• Be an Undergraduate or Postgraduate who is in the final semester of your current Diploma/ Degree/ Master's in Business Studies/ Finance/ Accountancy, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of CGPA 3.2 and above.
• An excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• A strong team collaborative spirit with a growth mindset.
