Supplier Quality Engineer/Senior Quality Engineer

Here is where you will come in:

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all quality assurance activities within our production processes. Your role will ensure the timely completion, safety, and overall quality of all projects, in line with our company's high standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage suppliers (PCBA and mechanical) to make sure they meet quality standards and regularly check the quality of parts and materials (for Senior).
• Drive contract manufacturer (CM) on continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support in-process quality control and provide quality awareness to the production team.
• Support on outgoing quality inspection, QA functional testing and outgoing checklist verification prior to shipment.
• Contribute to the creation of QA process documentation and best practices
• Conduct in-process audit both internally and at CM site, and ISO9001 audits.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in team meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and escalate risks or blockers.
• To lead a team for QA Technician, motivate and drive them to achieve result.
• Identifying and creating training programs to enhance the team's quality assurance skills
• Ensuring compliance with ISO requirements and adherence to standard operating procedures, safety practices, work instructions, policies, and guidelines
• Performing other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors to maintain quality standards across all stages of production

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the Engineering field or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality related role
• Possess extensive semiconductor manufacturing experiences
• Competent and knowledgeable in problem solving and quality/statistical tools such as 8D, PFMEA, Fishbone Diagram (Ishikawa), 5 Why Analysis, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Pereto Analysis
• Well-versed in Quality Management System ISO9001
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

For Senior position

• Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers (PCBA and mechanical) to make sure they meet quality standards and regularly check the quality of parts and materials
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and reduce risks in processes and products to avoid failures or quality issues
