We're hiring a Risk Manager - Technology & Operations for a 12-month extendable contract Position for our client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Third-Party Risk Manager – Technology & Operations (T&O)

Job Overview:

The role will be responsible for driving a consistent risk management approach, ensuring effective governance, and overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle management of third-party engagements across vendors, non-vendors, and inter-group arrangements (IGAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a
    pan-risk type third-party risk profile
    for T&O.
  • Implement a
    consistent RCSA approach
    for TPRM across T&O, including defining metrics, CSTs/KCIs, and KRIs with a country-level cascade.
  • Oversee the
    end-to-end lifecycle management
    of T&O third-party contracts (vendor, non-vendor, and IGA).
  • Drive
    consistent reporting across key controls
    such as Security, Resilience, Third-Party, and Data, along with other relevant domains.
  • Define and establish a
    pan-risk type RACI
    to support T&O's risk profile.
  • Establish and socialize the
    T&O TPR governance forum
    to provide oversight of T&O's TPRM risk profile.
  • Lead the
    reporting of T&O TPRM risk profile
    to risk governance forums (e.g., GTPRMC, T&O NFRC), including managing exceptions and control breach reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8–12 years of experience in risk management, governance, or third-party/vendor risk management, preferably within Technology & Operations.
  • Strong understanding of
    RCSA, risk metrics (CSTs, KCIs, KRIs), and governance frameworks
    .
  • Proven ability in managing third-party lifecycle processes (contracts, vendor/non-vendor/IGA engagements).
  • Experience in
    risk reporting
    and presenting to governance committees/forums.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and governance skills.
