JOB SCOPE:

  1. Assist in preparing audit working papers and documentation.
  2. Perform vouching, verification, and checking of supporting documents.
  3. Assist in bank, supplier, and debtor reconciliations.
  4. Collect and organise financial records and information from clients.
  5. Prepare audit schedules and ensure accuracy before review by senior auditors.
  6. Follow up with clients on outstanding documents and queries.
  7. Support senior auditors during on-site or remote audit work.
  8. Ensure all audit files are complete, properly labelled, and well maintained.
  9. Draft simple audit notes and highlight discrepancies for review.
  10. Assist in preparing confirmation letters and checking responses.
  11. Update audit progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  12. Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and arranging audit appointments.
