About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Maran & Co' as an Audit Assistant. Based in Jalan Meru Klang, Selangor, this full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality external auditing services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Undertaking audit fieldwork, including testing and verifying financial data and records
  • Assisting with the preparation of audit reports and other deliverables
  • Providing support to more experienced members of the audit team
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures
  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree or professional accounting qualification (Degree in Accounting, ACCA or etc.) Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • With or without working experience in an audit or accounting role,can apply
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Good time management and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Knowledge in AXP software would be an advantage
