About the role

As a Entomologist / Field Biologist at ECOCARE PEST CONTROL SDN BHD, you will play an important role in supporting the company's commitment to environmental sustainability and public health. This is a full-time position based in Kota Damansara, Selangor. You will be responsible for conducting field inspections related to pest issues, including fieldwork, biological assessments, data collection, and on-site evaluations to monitor environmental conditions and support effective pest management.

The role also involves preparing inspection reports and trend analysis reports to identify pest patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities. You will work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure environmentally responsible, compliant, and science-based practices are consistently implemented to meet client and regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting field inspections and entomological assessments to identify pest species, infestation levels, and contributing environmental factors
• Performing insect identification, data collection, and analysis to support pest management strategies
• Preparing inspection reports and trend analysis reports to monitor pest activity patterns and treatment effectiveness
• Providing technical advice and scientific recommendations on integrated pest management (IPM) practices to internal teams and clients
• Collaborating with operations and technical teams to improve pest control protocols and ensure environmentally responsible practices
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to inspections, assessments, and pest monitoring activities
• Staying up to date with current developments, regulations, and best practices in entomology and pest management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training will be provided)
• Basic knowledge of insect identification, biology, and pest behaviour
• Willingness to conduct field inspections, site assessments, and pest monitoring activities
• Ability to assist with data collection, trend analysis, and report preparation
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and internal teams
• Interest in environmentally responsible and sustainable pest management practices
• Willingness to perform field-based work and travel to client sites when required
