Job Description
Full Set Accounting:
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle the timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cash Flow Management:
- Provide client advisory on the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow management strategies.
- Develop and communicate strategic financial insights and analysis for enhancing business performance.
Audit Support:
- Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing documentation, resolving discrepancies, and responding effectively to all auditor inquiries.
- Manage the audit process to ensure a smooth and efficient conclusion.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Confirm that all financial activities meet relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal control policies.
- Guarantee the implementation and adherence to best practices to protect financial integrity and minimize risks.
Special Project Support:
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement support to senior leadership on key projects aimed at improving company growth and efficiency.
Client Relations:
- Provide professional and timely solutions for client inquiries and financial issues, and offer expert accounting advice.
- Manage the development and upkeep of strong client relationships through effective communication and successful issue resolution.
Ad-Hoc Tasks:
- Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks and projects to help achieve team and business objectives.
Job Requirement
Must-Have Skills:
- Professional Qualifications: Possess a Professional Certificate, ACCA, CPA, or a Degree in Accountancy or a relevant field
- Fluency in English & Bahasa Malaysia: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia are required
- Driving License: Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Mandarin Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous for this role, which requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Experience: While candidates possessing 1-2 years of relevant experience are preferred, we welcome applications from fresh graduates for junior roles, as full training will be offered.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison with clients and team members.
