Leasing Manager

We are hiring an entrepreneurial and visionary Business Development and Retail Leasing Manager to take ownership of our market expansion and site acquisition strategy. You will be responsible for translating our brand's growth vision into tangible real estate assets, meticulously identifying and securing core retail spaces across diverse asset classes (e.g., flagship malls, high-street frontage, commercial complexes). This role demands mastery in leading end-to-end lease negotiations to not only secure optimal square footage but also to lock in commercially advantageous terms that maximize return on investment (ROI) and position the business for sustainable, profitable growth.

• Drive strategic portfolio expansion by conducting rigorous market analysis and demographic modeling to pinpoint and secure prime, high-traffic retail locations that guarantee brand synergy and maximize sales potential.
• Cultivate a robust and diverse pipeline of prospective retail sites across diverse asset classes (e.g., shopping centers, mixed-use, high street) to ensure the sustained and aggressive achievement of the annual site acquisition target.
• Masterfully negotiate complex, high-value commercial lease agreements—including critical terms like Capex, tenure, and exit strategy—to ensure favorable financial outcomes, mitigate long-term risk, and optimize the return on investment (ROI) for every new location.

Requirements :

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in retail leasing, business development, ideally within a retail chain.
• Existing network of industry contacts including retailers, property developers, and leasing agents.
• Deep understanding of retail leasing markets, commercial negotiations, and location selection strategy.
• Existing network of industry contacts across developers, mall owners, and real estate consultants.
• Languages: English, Mandarin & Malay

Working Hours : 9:00AM - 6:00PM ( 5 days per week )

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7, RM10,000.00 per month
