The part you will play
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team in Malaysia. In this role, you will play a key part in driving a high-quality recruitment process by identifying and attracting top talent in the market. You'll work closely with business leaders and stakeholders across Malaysia, providing strategic hiring guidance and ensuring best practices are applied throughout the recruitment journey. This role will be reporting to the regional Talent Acquisition Lead.
As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will take charge of
- Partnering with different hiring managers to screen, assess and deliver the recruitment needs across various functions.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and offering negotiation to onboarding and ensuring successful new hire integration.
- Sourcing and attracting candidates through diverse channels such as job portals, social media, headhunting, campus recruitment, referrals, and international partnerships.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to hiring managers regarding candidate profiles and interview outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both active and passive talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Proactively managing and engaging candidate pipelines to ensure a continuous flow of qualified talent.
- Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to enhance sourcing strategies and candidate experience.
- Leading and executing campus recruitment activities targeting interns, trainees, contract staff, and entry-level talent.
- Supporting employer branding efforts to strengthen talent attraction and improve conversion rates.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate recruitment reports, including weekly status updates and hiring dashboards.
- Contributing to various ad-hoc talent acquisition projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for - the ideal profile
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- At least 4 years of work experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition, preferably from an e-commerce, marketing agency, or live commerce industry.
- Excellent understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and the local talent markets.
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search) and familiar with various sourcing channels.
- Strong communication skills and fluent English
- Good analytical acumen, including the ability to provide insights with data on the salary benchmarking, market competitiveness & talent pipeline
- Regional recruitment experience in SEA locations would be a bonus
