Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to join our team at Printcious. The role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, supplies, and services that meet the company's quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery requirements. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and able to support our fast-paced printing and merchandising business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Sourcing

  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for materials, merchandise, and services.

  • Request quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost savings without compromising quality.

  • Order Management

  • Issue purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

  • Supplier Relationship

  • Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and favorable terms.

  • Handle supplier performance evaluation and resolve delivery or quality issues.

  • Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, supplier agreements, and pricing databases.

  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Cross-Department Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with operational needs.

  • Provide timely updates on order status and any potential delays or risks.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing, printing, or merchandising industry).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and cost analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and purchasing/ERP systems.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong integrity, accountability, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
