About the role

We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our dynamic team at our Warisan Square location in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full-time Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee and specialty drinks.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to customers
  2. Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
  3. Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to understand their preferences
  4. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  5. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  6. Contribute to the overall success of the cafe by actively participating in team meetings and training

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar coffee-making role
  2. Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
  3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  5. Passion for coffee and a desire to continuously learn and improve your skills
  6. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
