A Brief Summary of This Position:

Valmont is modernizing its systems and SAP CPQ implementation is one of the key pillars of this transformational journey. This role was created in a newly created CPQ platform team and presents significant opportunity for growth. This individual contributor position will be responsible for configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP CPQ systems and programs that enable our businesses to perform at the highest level.  The SAP CPQ Analyst will work closely with business analysts, architects and business users to solve complex business problems.  This individual should have a strong background in software development and programming. The SAP CPQ Analyst will have a deep passion for implementing creative and efficient solutions using iron python. They should also have the drive to tackle a difficult problem and find the best solution leveraging their strong research and collaboration skills.

Essential Functions:

• This position reports to the IT Manager, CRM and has no direct or indirect reports.
• There are no travel requirements for this position.
• Experience in Iron Python, specificallywith Iron Python scripts for the customized functionalities, product triggers and container triggers.
• Experience with SQL/MYSQL, Knockout JS/HTML & CSS. Experience working custom UI development including Responsive Templates and Branding.
• API handling to integrate with different Systems. Experience to simulate web service requests using Soap UI/Postman or similar tool.
• Ability to work on Workflow, Pricing, Global Scripts and Global Actions, Approval Management, and User Management.
• Extensively worked on CPQ Rules, CTX tags and Data tags.
• Preferably experience with SAP CPQ 2.0 Release.
• Experience with performance tuning of CPQ for business needs.
• Experience in business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution.
• Prepare Design Doc, Drive Workshop session while collecting client requirements, recommend solution options according to the customer's processes.
• Provide technical support / troubleshooting and ability to work on new enhancements.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Quickly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technology.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes.
• Experience with performance tuning of SAP CPQ Cloud for business needs.
• Transform requirements and specifications into high functioning technology solutions.
• Integrate SAP CPQ to ERP, CRM and PLM Business Suites.
• Build and test high quality code to ensure it produces the desired results and perform debugging when necessary.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years relevant experience or Associate's Degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of professional programming experience in Microsoft .NET technologies and Iron Python.
• 3+ years of accumulated professional experience in the following areas:
  • SAP CPQ customization in the areas of products, pricing, quoting, custom actions, workflows, output,
  • Create iron python scripts and formulas in SAP CPQ for products and pricing
  • Enhance SAP CPQ user interface using Responsive Templates
  • Design and build REST APIs for transactions and master data exchange
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development methodology.
