Marine Operations Superintendent

Job Responsibilities:

  • Present marine operation matters to Top Management to support Safety Management System (SMS) improvements and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in scheduling and conducting shipboard Sire Inspection/Audits and follow up non conformities.
  • Support HSE team and vessel personnel with risk assessments and safety compliance.
  • Ensure fleet compliance with safety regulations, environmental restrictions, and regional guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Technical, Crewing, Commercial and Finance Departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Serve on the Emergency Management Team and participate in Management Review and Incident investigation.

Requirements:

  • Certified Senior Deck Officer with Class 1 or Class 2 Certificate of Competency (COC) is a compulsory
  • Minimum 5 years of seafaring experience on oil/ chemicals tankers at least 2.5 years in a ship board senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISM code, SOLAS,ISPS,OCIMF,SIRE and MARPOL regulations
  • Excellent marine safety and operational management skills.
  • Good communication with both shipboard and shore teams.
