Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources Administration:
Managed comprehensive Human Resources documentation, including HR letters and the hiring process facilitation.
General Ledger Oversight:
Supervised the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial transaction recording and classification including fixed asset depreciation closing.
Contributed to month-end and year-end closing processes.
Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
Developed, updated, and maintained financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform strategic decision-making.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
Processed and reviewed invoices with precise coding and purchasing.
Prepared and issued customer invoices, monitored accounts receivable, and managed follow-ups on overdue payments.
Financial Analysis and Compliance:
Conducted detailed financial analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Ensured compliance with internal controls and recommended enhancements.
Process Improvement:
Identified and implemented process enhancements and automation initiatives within the finance and accounting department.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitored and reconciled bank accounts, contributing to cash flow optimization and forecasting.
Financial Systems and Software Utilization:
Utilized financial software and systems such as SQL Accounting, Payroll, and MS Office Suite.
Provided training and support to team members on financial tools.
Board Paper Preparation and Inventory Management:
Prepared board papers for meetings and developed comprehensive inventory systems using Microsoft Access.
IT Support and Reporting:
Provided IT support, including maintaining domains, emails, and other related tasks.
Prepared weekly reports monitoring production and administration activities to Group Managing Director.
Pricing Strategies and Financial Reporting:
Managed pricing strategies, analyzing costs and industry pricing trends.
Ensured accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and regulations.
Statutory Compliance and HR Document Administration:
Managed monthly statutory submissions and handled HR document administration, including employment-related documents. This also includes staff salaries and allowances.
Government Liaison:
Liaised with government bodies for licensing and certification matters related to the Foresty Department of Sarawak and other agencies.
Requirements:
· Male candidate preferable
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 3-4 years of proven experience in account management, sales, and/or full set accounting.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, SQL Payroll) and MS Office Suite.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively.
