The opportunity

Dayamas Trading Sdn. Bhd. is a hardware store in Seremban, distributes steel wire products such as Chain Link Fencing, Barbed Wire, Wooden Nail, Gabion Basket, Welded Mesh, High Security Anti-Climb Mesh, High Tensile Concertina Barbed Tape, Metal Roofing, BRC Mesh and various types of building materials which can be found in the construction, manufacturing, housing and agricultural industries. We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Indoor Sales Clerk to join our growing team in Seremban. As an Indoor Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing customer service and driving sales in our vibrant retail environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product selection, offering recommendations and guidance
  • Operate and handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
  • Restock shelves and ensure product availability to meet customer demands
  • Actively participate in inventory management and order processing
  • Provide customer service and address any inquiries or concerns

What we're looking for

  • Good attitude, willing to learn. Although not necessary, previous experience in hardware industry is a plus point
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and assist customers
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer queries and concerns
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to provide good customer service.
