We are seeking a technically adept and hands-on Mechanical /Technical Manager to lead our Drone parts (UAV) production line. This role combines engineering expertise with production oversight to ensure high-quality output, process efficiency, and continuous improvement in a precision-driven manufacturing environment.

Position: Mechanical/Technical Engineer Manager/Assistant

Industry: Manufacturing of Drone Part (UAV)

Working Location: SILC Iskandar Puteri

Salary + Allowance: RM6,000 – RM10,000 (depends on experience)

Working hours & days: Office hours

Onboard: Dec - Jan 2025

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end production line operations for drone components and assembly, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and delivery targets.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes for mechanical, electronic, and composite drone parts
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with standards & regulations.
  • Supervise the production of turbine jet engines used in drone propulsion systems, ensuring precision, safety, and performance standards are met.
  • Analyze production KPIs (yield, OEE, scrap rate, downtime) and drive data-driven improvements.
  • Manage technical documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and process validation records.
  • Evaluate and integrate automation solutions to enhance throughput and reduce manual intervention.
  • Liaise with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in precision manufacturing, preferably in aerospace, electronics, or UAV sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, Proven leadership in managing production lines with high-mix, low-volume or high-precision components.
  • Candidates with immediate availability will be given priority.
