The role

As a Component Test Engineer at Global ETS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components. This full-time position is based in Batu Kawan, Penang, and will involve hands-on testing and analysis to support the company's rigorous quality control processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct a variety of electrical, and environmental tests on electronic components according to established procedures
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers
  • Document test results and maintain detailed records
  • Assist in the development and improvement of test methods and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the HQ team at USA.

What we're looking for

  • [Engineer] Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory or test environment, preferably in the electronics industry
  • Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment and data analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Mandarin speaking.
