About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fitter to join our team at Ingress Precision Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of our precision engineering operations, ensuring our equipment and machinery are running at peak performance. What you'll be doing

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical equipment and machinery used in our precision engineering operations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
  • Interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications to carry out repair and maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Document maintenance activities and keep detailed records
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations to ensure a safe work environment
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment and tools used in a precision engineering environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools to carry out maintenance and repairs
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work area
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
